 No. 69 Wye Valley Bus Consultation in Process

There is currently a consultation process in place concerning the No. 69 Chepstow – Monmouth bus route and all opinions and comments need to be received by 30th August 2012. These should be sent to Monmouthshire County Council, Public Transport Department, PO Box 106, Magor, NP26 9AN for the attention of Damien Weeks or to publictransport@monmouthshire.co.uk. There is also a telephone contact number 01633 644729.

It should also be noted that there is a public consultancy presentation on Thursday 23rd August 2012 between 10.00am and 2.00pm in a bus located on stand 1 at Chepstow bus station.

This is an opportunity for Tintern residents to have their say on a service which perhaps could be made more useful to residents and visitors, particularly walkers. For instance it would make travelling more convenient if the bus was to call at Chepstow railway station as well as the bus station thus avoiding the struggle with luggage between the two.
