This year's 7th Women's Festival marks a string of anniversaries and special days and the festival organisers have certainly decided to celebrate them in style! There are 15 events - something to suit everyone! No one could fail to be impressed by this year's line up which in a stunning coup is headlined by Jung Chang author of “Wild Swans” and Jo Salter - Britain's first women fighter pilot. CHALLENGE WALK The Three Peaks Trial is an organised challenge walk arranged each year in March by the Cardiff Outdoor Group. The Walk was first held in March 1963 and was designed for less experienced walkers who wanted to test their powers of endurance and skill at map reading. It is the third oldest event of its type in the UK.
